The company’s smallest scrambler motorbike, the Mondial HPS 125 (full name: Hipster 125), comes loaded with posh parts. The HPS 125 has a spectacular appearance, to start with, owing to its distinctive livery choices, scrambler-like styling, and blacked-out 18/17-inch (F/R) spoke wheels. The chrome-finished twin exhaust is my favorite part of this design, and the bike has a throwback vibe.
The modern seat section and integrated tail lamp tie everything together, and the golden USD forks up the ante. The F.B. Mondial HPS 125 is a new alternative available to young motorcycle riders in Europe. In recent years, bland, unimpressive motorcycles that were created only to serve as steppingstones for users to eventually go onto larger bikes have dominated the entry-level motorbike industry in Europe. As a result, many of them lacked personality or were just dull to ride in and look at.
The bike’s low, flat handlebar, and the bar-end rearview mirrors, which are often found on cafe racers, also give off a slight cafe racer impression. Although it hasn’t always been the case, Italian motorbikes nowadays aren’t significantly quicker or handle any better than those made in other nations. But style is something that motorcycles made in the land of pasta and Valpolicella have in spades.
Even tiny ones; the FB Mondial HPS125 Hipster is an example as is Piaggio’s famous Vespa scooter.
The HPS 125 is outfitted by FB Mondial with high-end equipment like LED lighting, ABS, USD forks, and a large 7-inch TFT instrument cluster to go along with its attractive style.
ABS on both the front and back wheels is a standard feature of the 2022 F.B. Mondial HPS 125. It uses 280mm and 220mm discs, front and back, with a four-piston caliper and a single floating piston arrangement, respectively.
2022 FB Mondial HPS 125: An Entry-Level Naked Motorcycle
Don’t be deterred by the fact that Piaggio manufactures the HPS 125 in China. For solitary work, it’s far more rideable than a scooter and does a better job of dealing with the terrible state of our urban roads. Fit and quality are well up to European standards, and the style is purely Italian. It mostly packs a quart of attitude into a pint pot of motorcycle, though.
The bike will be offered in Graystone and Blacknight as its two color options, with a starting MSRP of 4,090 Euros, which is equal to $4,964 USD.
The HPS 125’s engine is a 124cc, single-cylinder Aprilia-sourced unit that complies with Euro 5 standards and generates a good 13 horsepower and 7.7 pound-feet of torque. Although this little powertrain won’t exactly be enjoyable to ride on the road, it should be enjoyable on tight off-road routes.

Ltd., a joint venture owned by the Piaggio Group, the Zongshen Group, one of China’s largest manufacturers of motorcycles and motorcycle engines, and the Municipality of Foshan, at 10%.
The new Piaggio research and development center in Foshan will focus on compact commercial vehicles with negligible to no environmental effect, diesel engines, and electric engines. A new R&D center for the Group will be built in China, and it will employ roughly 50 engineers to build laboratories with cutting-edge equipment. To assist the Piaggio Group’s global buying initiatives, the Centre will also engage in the fields of component scouting and qualitative assessment.
